Embroidery
What is Embroidery?
Embroidery is a premium apparel decoration method where threads are stitched directly onto fabric in a pre-programmed design. Using high-precision machines, custom embroidery creates durable, high-quality logos, text, and images that add a professional, long-lasting look to garments and accessories.
Embroidery is commonly used for:
- Corporate branding and business logos
- Team uniforms and sports apparel
- Personalized names and monograms
- Hats, jackets, polos, bags, and more
Whether you're outfitting a company, team, or event, embroidery is one of the most versatile and professional decoration options available.
Artwork Requirements for Custom Embroidery
To produce your embroidered design, we require a digitized embroidery file, such as a .dst
or .pdf
format. This file contains stitch instructions for the embroidery machine and is not the same as a standard graphic or print file.
Don't Have a Digitized File?
No problem! We offer embroidery digitizing services starting at just $35 for designs up to 15,000 stitches. Prices may vary for complex or oversized designs. Simply email your logo or design file to us for a quote.
Best File Types for Embroidery Digitizing:
-
Vector files:
.ai
,.eps
,.svg
,.cdr
-
High-resolution raster files:
.jpg
,.png
,.psd
,.gif
,.pdf
Vector artwork is preferred for optimal stitch accuracy, but we can work with almost any clear, high-quality design file. If needed, we also offer vector conversion services.
Note: Small or highly detailed artwork may not translate well to embroidery due to thread limitations.
Embroidery-Compatible Fabrics
Embroidery works well on a wide range of fabrics, making it ideal for various types of apparel and accessories. Some popular options include:
- 100% cotton
- Cotton/polyester blends (50/50, 60/40, tri-blends)
- Performance polyester
- Canvas, denim, vinyl, and more
Unlike print-based decoration methods, embroidery doesn’t require heat presses or chemical pretreatments. As long as the fabric is clean and in good condition, it's typically ready to be embroidered.
